Year 11 Camp

On the 19th of June, the Year 11 students set off for an eventful learning experience in Melbourne. On the first day we went to La Trobe University in Bendigo, where we checked out the campus and their residential facilities. Amber was scared of the Kangaroos!

After that we took the train to Melbourne. Throughout the week we learnt many valuable life skills    including public transport, how to use Myki cards, how to navigate our way around the city. On     Wednesday we had an amazing race around Melbourne. There were many cool photos taken. Moni and Charli won the race checking off all the things on the list. Later that night, we went to the Eureka Skydeck. Many of us were very scared.

We also played bubble soccer, there were many falls. Ash got very competitive. On Thursday we went to both the Deakin campuses in Geelong. It was a lovely experience and caught many people’s attention. On Friday 23rd we visited the rock-climbing place and had a wonderful climb into the morning, following that was straight back to the rooms to collect bags and set off on the long-awaited trip back home to sea lake.

A big thank you to miss Ash Wright and Graham Williams for the tolerance to put up with us and for the amazing activities that were organised.
