On Wednesday February 19 all Years 7-12 students participated in a Well-Being Day.
The male students completed the ManCave program. The Man Cave uses evidence-based workshops and expert facilitation, their programs provide boys with the critical emotional and social skills they need to become self-aware, respectful, and emotionally mature men.
The remaining 7-12 students participated in a Well Being Day tailored specifically to our college community. This day was ran by our Mental Health Practitioner Rashall Roberts in conjunction with Emily Noonan from Headspace in Swan Hill. This day aimed to equip girls with the essential knowledge and confidence they require to manage their own social and emotional health, and unique wellbeing needs.
On Wednesday February 19 we attended a Wellbeing Day held by Rashall and also Emily from Headspace Swan Hill here at the school. The day started off with a “getting to know each other” activity. We then went outside into groups to participate in an exercise around trust.
Back inside we did a self image task, aimed at building self confidence.
After lunch we participated in a “get to know yourself” session, based off how you view yourself and how others view you.
To finish off the day we wrote a letter to ourselves, saying how proud we are.
We really appreciate the time Rashall, Jac and Emily put into the day and look forward to hopefully another session in the near future.
