On Friday August 4, we held our annual Cluster Primary Athletics at the Sea Lake Sporting Complex. With a warm start, we began the day with the 200-metre event. All students tried their best and encouraged one another all the way down the track. Once the students finished their 200m track race, they rotated through all their field events. The day progressed to get warm and windy, and students continued to do their best at every event. Students finished the day with their 50 and 100m sprints and relays. All students demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship while encouraging each other during each race. Well done to all students on a great day out! Many thanks go to all the staff, students, parents, and carers for assisting on the day. Thankyou also to the Tyrrell College Parents and Friends for the catering, it was delicious! All students had a great day out and it wouldn’t be possible without all our helpers.
