As the weather improved this week 29 Tyrrell College students from years 7-12 made the trip up the highway to Ouyen to participate in the Mallee Division Athletics event. Students were busily heading off to their events as soon as we arrived, and the day was underway within a matter of minutes. It wasn’t long before our students started returning to the group with an array of ribbons for placing within the top three in their events. Students who placed first in their events have qualified to attend and represent the Mallee Division at the Loddon Mallee Region event early next term. Many of our students performed well in their age groups, placing runner up. A special congratulations to Dayna McKenzie who received Age Champion medal for her age group, 17 Year Girls. Well done to all students who attended, participated, and represented our college. Your performance, sportsmanship, and support for one another was admirable. We are very proud of all of you.
