The Year 9 and 10 students travelled to the Flying Boat museum in Lake Boga, on Friday October 25, as part of our Humanities class work. During the visit, we got taken on a tour of the Museum, this involved the Catalina flying ship, along with multiple items of memorabilia from the second world war. After the tour, we had time to roam around and enjoy the Museum, before taking a seat in the theatre to watch an educational video of Lake Bogas contribution to World War 2. Once that finished, we enjoyed a complimentary morning tea consisting of biscuits and slices, before entering and exploring the underground bunker that played a major role in communication during the war.
