On Monday December 2, Tyrrell College students in Grades 5 and 6 braved the heat walking over to St Marys for a Dream Seeds workshop. It taught them about different values like aspiration, resilience, and connection. Students identified positive values and traits in themselves and their peers, as well as recording lists of the things they are capable of doing. After some games, students wrote down the four traits that they believe they have onto leaves which they attached to a tree. It was a great morning of collaboration between the two schools, with all the kids enjoying working together to achieve different goals.
