On Monday and Tuesday September 9 and 10 our students (F-12) were fortunate enough to have the Body Safe team visit the school. Students were broken up into four groups over the course of the two days (F-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12) and took part in body safety learning activities. Each lesson focused on age-appropriate material. Some of the session topics included: help seeking, online safety, emotions, early warning signs, secrets and surprises and consent along with many other topics. A parent session was also organised that supported what the students learnt over the two days and to help keep the conversations happening at home. A big thank you to those parents and staff that attended this valuable information session. Your attendance was greatly appreciated.
